Does anybody else get happy when it rains

I hate the sunshine . . . waaay too much sun here I freaking love the rain.

not a fan of the rain, at least driving in it... hydroplaning sucks and i like ot drive fast... rain makes me drive slow and i hate that...

I like snow though... take out the 4wd and have some fun... can't do that in the rain... so i like 4wd in snow or 2wd on dry roads for playing around..

I love the rain. But I hated hydroplaning into 3 or 4 360's, missing the other cars on the freeway, then narrowly missing the giant freeway light poles and sliding off the freeway and down a bank finally getting wedged in the mud not more than a foot from a giant rivene that could have killed me 10 different ways from sunday. Moral of the story, our cars aren't in love with the rain, and when you combine our cars, giant drag radials, and rain, you're asking for it. (PS I was only going 45-50 when it happened)

Nik, it sounds like you get the same all-or-nothing rain that we do down south of ya. Nothin for months and then 5" in two hours.

John and I live in the same town but since I grew up in Alaska and Seattle, I actually dont mind it too much (I came here cuz I was sick of wet weather). That said, the mid 90s right now are a bit much.

Dayum JT .... from one extreme to the other.

I like it here ..... good "well rounded" seasons. Not too cold in winter. Not too hot in summer (humidity sucks, though). Get snow once or twice a year. Rains just enough to keep the drought on a decent level. Can't really complain .... but I do sometimes, lol.
