Does anyone have a silver lower shift boot on their car?

I ordered one from 50resto.com and when I got it, it was silver instead of brass colored. I dont know if the dealer will notice it when I take it in for my 3650 fix and think I was messing with it. Anyone have a silver one stock?

I thought they were zinc plated?

Mine came zinc plated, why did you have to replace the inner boot??

Im replacing it because I cut the rubber for my Pro 5.0 and want to put on the stock shifter before taking it in for the 3650 fix.

Just tell them you changed it out cause you thought the 1st-2nd grind was due to a tore up rubber gasket. Then you found out that it was this defective tranny that was making the grind and hand them the bill from 5.0resto for the replacement lower shift boot.

I bought it used from thier lot so Ill just say I guess so sold me a modified car, how about a free extended warranty?
