Does anyone have aftermarket shifters?

I had the Roush shifter installed after a few months and a few missed shifts with the stock unit. Haven't missed 3rd since. 55% throw reduction, very 'positive' feel with every shift. Happy customer...

The majority of people either have the Hurst Comp+ or MGW. I have the Hurst in both cars. It works well for what we need. Hurst has a new billet shifter, but it's not much less than the MGW. So it basically comes down to 2 things. Price and shifter feel. If you want a positive feedback (kind of notchy) feel and save a few bucks, go with the Hurst Comp Plus. If you want adjustability and a smoother shift, go with the MGW.

I just have the shifter bushings from steeda, and it's a LOT better than stock. Haven't had an opportunity to compare it to other shifters though. The downsides are no throw reduction, and I can't move the knob around; I'd like to move the knob back a bit so I don't hit the radio buttons with my fingers.

I have the PRO-5.0 shifter and I really like it. Notchy feel but strong springs get you into gear every time, plus postive stops for worry-free gear banging. I coupled mine with the Hurst, Chrome Handle and White Ball Shifter Knob.

I had a Steeda Triax which is identical to the Pro50. No comparison to the MGW at almost 500 rwhp. I got tired of missing third and the notchy noisy Triax. I will admit that the Triax felt great before the supercharger, it was just noisy.

Yikes. So with the MGW you don't miss third anymore? Do you have a K-Member Brace with Torque Limiters? The reason I'm asking is because I got a MGW and I started missing third gear after it so I installed a CHE K-Member Brace with TLs and it fixed it.
