Does Ford paint their cars with crayons?

I agree with everyone here. The paint sucks. My 90 LX has 3 stone chips on the front (original paint, 105,000 miles). My 07 GT has MULITPLE stone chips... hell.. not chips... it's like it rips the paint off. Most on the hood and front of the fenders. I used almost half a bottle of Ford touch up paint to fill them all in! I think the hood problems might have to do with the hoods being aluminum... Maybe the paint doesn't stick to them as well as steel.......???

I just keep a heavy coat of wax on it... and do it often.
At least once a month.
I drove mine home new from the dealer.
On the way home... snap! ROCK CHIP!
Right on the front of the F'ing hood!
That s**t chips of easier than my wife's finger nail polish!

Funny how everyone seems to have the same blemishes. My car also has chips on the leading edge of the hood and front fenders.
I have to agree with washing the Stang being a raindance. Seems like everytime I wash it if freakin rains. If it doesn't rain then when I visit my parents on the weekend my dad decides it would be a great time to get the ****ing leafblower out and get the dirt and leaves out of the garages leaving a nice coating of dust and **** all over my car. He did this to me one day literally 5 minutes after I finished drying my car in his driveway. I wanted to kill him.
