i just got this new job and i was walking by some parts and the tag said general motors. at first glance i thought they were fords dual overhead cam heads, but i got closer and saw 10 spark plugs along with 10 exuast / intake ports so obviously it was a v10. i was wondering if anybody has any idea what these are going in or to.

I dont think GM has an OHC to my knowlege. Ford does but I beleive they are SOHC. My buddy had one in his Excursion and it really had some force behind it.

see i know that gm doesn't really have any dohc other than really the caddilac, oldsmobile not sure if the buicks are dohc. but anyways none of those are v10s. and i am 100 percent sure those are general motors. does th xlr by caddie have a v10? maybe gm has something up there sleeve.

I remember seeing something last year about the Escalade having a performance option of a V-10, didnt know it was OHC. Oh yeah, it was on that show Rescue Me when that crazy chick bought one for whats his face, Dennis something.

The Northstar engines are OHC. None are I-5 though, or V10.

GM does not have a V10. the reason being that it's easier for them to just make a bigger V8. i thik their biggest is the 8.1L used in trucks.
