I have the 85 mph cluster and was just wondering if it hurts to go past the 85 mphs on the speedometer. I was cruzing last night and decided to punch it, when If inally looked down I was WAY past the 85 mphs. Does this hurt my 'Stang at all?

nope... not in the slightest bit. Granted the higher the sustained rpms over a given time period is going to wear the engine quicker but as far as the speedometer itself, not at all.....LB

No its just fun to watch the little needle start going around again. Did that in a car with an 85 speedo and 4.10's without the speedo gear.
