I want to mount my ignition where the stock airbox used to be, but i'd have to make the wires long enough to go where the coil is, will wires that long be ok?
Yes. That's where mine is gonna go as soon as I move the battery to the trunk. Right now my 6AL is mounted to a bracket I made on the back of my Procharger. It looks retarded but right now there is no where else to put it. Hope this helps.
I have a Jachobs mastermind, which is a nitrous control, and I had to connect the wires to it before connecting to the MSD box. My MSD is mounted in the driver firewall, and the mastermind is in the glove box. So I'm using a really long length of wire, and it works fine. Just make sure the longer the wire you use that you upgrade to a thicker wire. It should work out fine.
no bro, it won't bother anything.. I used to run mine from inside the car.. the wire that comes with it is a nice thick gauge wire, just make sure you get the same when extending it......tony
