as the title says....does our car have a fuel pump relay??? i was driving down the street when my car died...i pushed in the clutch to start it again, but it just turned over....i had to pull into a sonic parking lot...i tried to turn it over and noticed that i didn't hear my fuel pump kick in....it turned over and tried to start but nothin....i figured it was the fuel pump and figured i was gonna change it....so i had it towed home and got a fuel filter and pump...when i got the old pump off i wired it to my battery to see if my old pump actually quit working...it kicked on....i was like wtf...so i'm thinking that maybe the heads, cam, and bigger throttle body pushed my 12 year old pump over the egde and caused it to stop...and when i pulled it out with nothin to run it started back up...or maybe i have a fuel pump relay out...i looked in my manual and saw 2 fuses but no relay...i checked them and they were ok...i know on the fox body that the relay was under the air intake hose on the passenger side....any ideas???? jimmy

The Fuel pump relay is on the CCRM, wich is on the coolant reservior bottle, maybe the pump was on its way out , because other reason could been the inertia switch on the trunk, but i dont think you missed that one

Did u check your fuses??? If you did, the relay is the CCRM!! I have a brand new if you plan on buying one.

The guys are right. In case it helps with testing the FP relay, here's some info.

Good luck.
