someone told me not to put this in my car because it will make it run like crap. is this true? how many people on here have used it? my dad thinkis i should use it because he thinks it will make my car run better after all that build up is out of the injectors. but i odnt know, what do you guys think?

I've used that, and several other brands, before and it didn't make my car run badly. I get some cleaner every once in a while just to help clean out the system, seems to help. I used some Valvoline stuff recently and it cleared up a sputtering problem I was having after getting the new fuel pump.

I use injector cleaner once every two months or so, and haven't noticed any performance loss... did the person that told you this also recommend adding a larger wing and decals to increase speed? Listen to your old man!

Don't know if its in CT, but I had good results with Techron (concentrated Chevron fuel additive). Ran a bottle of that when I bought my car along with doing a tuneup. Now I only use Chevron gas so I don't have to worry about the injectors cause they put that stuff in their fuel.

Just make sure its catalytic converter and 02 sensor safe and you should be fine.. I highly doubt injector cleaner would kill any hp if anything some of them up the octane in the gas.

i go to kmart and get the cheapest injector cleaner for very cheap (i think its in a grey bottle) and get my car down to almost no gas, get about $5 worth of gas and put in about 3-4 12oz bottles in there.....cleans the crap outta the lines and injectors. dont expect your car to run fast or anything while that stuff is in your system cause its like higher octane than you need in your car, its tougher to burn but it does a great job cause the next tank you put in makes ur car feel like a new car
