Roush Does The MoSaleen Idler Work??

I was checking out E-Bay tonight and saw an auction for an Idler Pulley called MoSaleen Idler Pulley Designed by a Saleen S281 SC Owner for Series I through IV Blowers! Does this thing really work?? I understand the concept and theory behind it! He posted some HP and torque numbers that were pretty impressive! If it works, can it be used with Joe's Chicane Sport Tuning's Pulley for Series I??? Does it hurt the engine wear and tare to put this idler arm on or help?? Anybody know any details on this or have this on their SC car and know actual numbers from a non biased opinion??? Its not that I don't trust the seller but those numbers are hard to believe, plus in the posted picture their seems to be a different pulley on his S281 SC!! Any help here or comments regarding this idler Pulley would be appreciated!

it works, i was one of the first poeple to have it. I have had 0 belt slip, my throttle response improved dramatically. He is a great guy, and his product does all thats its advertised

Tim, did you use the stock belt with Chicanes pulley and MoSaleen Idler pulley?? How long have you had it on your car and how many miles have you put on your car since the idler was installed??? Is it built to last/reliable? I know you have to retune the car when Joe's pulley is installed, do you just install this MoSaleen Idler & go??? You shouldn't have to retune it with this on correct???

Its a nice product all i can say is that it stopped my rotten belt squeal at high rpm's. Can someone make a nice idler for the opposite side to push that belt even closer.

for the chicane pulley, you want a 112 inch belt. It is built to last and be reliable. I have about 5k on mine so far, however i've owned it fo ra year and a half but my car was broke lol. The tune thing will be iffy, it depends how bad your belt slip is. I'd imagine you'd be ok, but i'd double check it on a dyno once you install it. It made a world of difference and would be my first mod, even on a stock car
