380 ft/lbs from a 302, seems a bit optimistic to me especially with a mild B cam.
I would think it would be closer to 320 ft/lbs at the flywheel IMHO.

Sounds VERY high to me considering the ford racing 302 w/ gt40x heads is 345 hp or so.

by feel of the car and the motor im thinking more alongs the lines of 300 bhp.. and maybe like 350 tq.. I talked to the P.O of the heads and I think he said they are 1.94 and 1.60 valves and the intake and exhaust ports have been opened up.. and i think he said egr bumps were removed.. he had a ton of work done to them.. they mirrored the "thumper" E-7s but not quite as drastic

How can we guess accurate numbers when the power potential of these heads just gets better and better? LOL

Are you familiar with the phrase:
Garbage in, Garbage out.

Without PERFECT information desktop dyno spits out worthless numbers. Unless you know what valves are in your heads, and what the flow rates are (because you had the heads flow tested) any number you get from desktop dyno with be nothing more than a SWAG...which as we all know is just a WAG with fancy math behind it to make it sound valid. If you want to know how much HP you have, take the car to chassis dyno and find out.

Desktop dyno can be accurate....but in my expereince it takes a VERY knowledgable and experienced operator to produce anything close to accurate.

BTW even if you did plug in all the right numbers and got accurate results, your car STILL won't have the HP desktop dyno says it should without a chassis dyno test and tune ANYWAY. Even the best tuned car will pick up a few HP on the dyno simply because of the real time feedback you get allowing you to make changes and instantly measure the gains or loss. The average shadetree picks up alot of power on the dyno. My first motor picked up 50HP....my second motor picked up 70HP just by spending a few hours and a few bills on a real dyno session. From conversations with others, the average gain has been about 10% for a good test and tune on a dyno with a good operator.

All that said....no, those numbers are no accurate and you are WAY high.

u sure ur not forgetting to list the 50 shot of NOS in there. those are way too high. but nice motor regardless. my buddy has one of the fastest N/A 4.6 2v in the country and all he has is like 300 rwhp. so be optimistic.

the B is 224* @ .050 ICL at 107* and ECL at 117, LSA at 112...
Using the 9:1 and port work with the GT40 valve size ( 1.85/1.55) , gasket match on the intake and a 600 Vac secondary ( which will pull more with the 3310 750 vac secondary) I got ruff... 290 FT lbs @ 3500 { 308 @ 4500}, and 337 HP @ 6000 {343 HP @ 6250}...[ Baro @ 32 and intake temp @ 85] and that is assuming the heads flow "close " to my numbers... Cool?? NOW go and add a 750 CFM carb and see what happens!! and then advance the cam to 105 CL and see what happens...cool Huh??

Have fun...........

Just me.........................
