Today, I parked my car in the parking lot at work, and I waived to the parking lot attendant, and his eyes popped out. I told him I upgraded from my Firebird (understatement). So then when I left a couple hours later, he stops me and goes, "You know, about 8 different people stopped as they passed your car and after they parked, they got out and walked over to it to look. They were looking through your windows and everything. That's such a beautiful car!"
Man, that made me feel good. Then as I was driving home, I'm in the right lane, and this BMW was in the left lane. We're both going slow, as there was a lot of traffic. We get to a stand still, and notice he keeps looking at me, then he lowers his window. I lower mine, and he goes, "Is that the new Mustang?"
I said, "Yes it is!"
He was like, "How many horses?"
I responded, "300".
He goes, "How big is the engine?"
I responded, "4.6L V8".
He smiled and said, "Nice car!"
And we drove off.
This is a dude in a 55,000 dollar beamer, and is admiring my ride.
And because I haven't seen one other GT in the Chicago area yet, man, I feel awesome about it!
I'm sure everyone is getting that same kind of attention. Isn't it great?
