searching for some posts on here in the classics section, but having a hard time finding them.
My buddy took his dohc cobra engine out the other day for a nice, race-prepped engine. It has 15,000 miles on it and I can get it pretty damn cheap (the trans comes with it too)
I have plenty of room in my 66 with the hot rod suspension. I am looking for posts as to what else needs to be done. Headers, tweeking the trans tunnel, wiring, a computer, and a trans crossmember are the obvious issues. What about all of the issues that no one thinks of? what are they? Someone said Id have to have the ABS and hydroboost? system turned off...etc etc.
Can someone point me to some posts that have this info or just provide it to me here? I looked at the reen machine...but with all of the pages of posts, its hard to sort through.
I cant believe I am even asking this since I am usually not for mod motors in classics, but this might be a deal that I shouldnt pass up.
