DOHC swap in to GT

Anyone done this ? how difficult it is to swap?Do you need new wiring harness and computer?
What is the best place to look for used engine?
Any info is welcome.

Not a good idea saying "Search" anymore. The new upgrade has deleted ALOT of threads.

Yes you will need a Cobra harness, the GT harness doesn't have the same wiring the Cobra does.

Searching doesn't always yield good results either... don't know why...

new wiring harness, exhaust manifolds, midpipe, brake booster(cobra one is different than GT), computer can be reprogrammed to work.

maybe a new trans... just a thought

the trans he has will bolt up, however putting in a heavier duty trans is always a good idea.

Thanks for the info guys,my car is 2000 GT the motor has 31000 miles on it,for pass 3 years I dint put more than 250 miles on the car almost i don't drive it at all because I am rely unhappy with performance of the car I think that 2v motor never going to make me happy, that is why I want to put better engine in the car and lather maybe bolt on a SC and make that mustang run as good as look.
What do you think is the best engine out off those three;

aviator
and do you think is warted the trouble swapping the motor or not.
