I'll be installing my heads and cam in a couple weeks, and needed to know whether I would be safe getting by with the stock fuel pump, and more imporantly, the injectors and pressure regulator. I'm a little tight on money as you can imagine. I can probably get the injectors within the next week or so, and maybe an AFPR. If I can't, will the stockers work okay until I can get the new ones in and get it tuned?

Do you have a maf caled to match your new larger inj's?

Your stock fuel pump & inj"s will be too small ESPECIALLY at stock fuel pressure.

You could use the stock stuff but I would not push it for a max effort.

I don't know man....your on the hairy edge...A pump upgrade is kinda like a base mod for what your doing....19s are gonna be damn near maxxed out at WOT to...If you cant get to widebands then an AFPR will at least let you tune it some old school by plug checks....I did that before my dyno and was 4 lbs heavy...so you can dial it in by the AFPR...
I run Thumpers/Cobra/19 cam and still run my 19s and stock EEC....dyno proven I'm all right, I'm 302 FWHP...You run better heads than that and your really close to leaning it out... Thats alot of money you got invested there...
I still have those 24s just waiting...

I keep forgetting about my MAF. Is there someway I could reprogram it for my larger injectors (FRPP 30lbs) without sending it to Pro-M?

Geez, that's a LOT of fuel pressure to get my stockers up to par. If I got an AFRP, could I bump up my fuel pressure to around 60psi for a little while? Otherwise I gotta get the injectors, AND get my MAF recaled.

That chart is flywheel horsepower so you will probably be around 350 flywheel hp and need at least 24s at stock pressure.

Right, and I'm looking at some 30's (better safe than sorry) on eBay, but I will still need to get my MAF recaled. I was hoping maybe I could just up the FP on my stockers for the time being to around 60psi, that should make them flow like some 24's.

Another question: My Pro-M MAF, do I HAVE to send it to Pro-M to get it recaled, or is there someway I can do it myself? I really don't want to be without my car for a week or two while it's there. Thanks
