let me make one thing clear, two of the best mods i have done so far are the steeda lowering kit and swapping my inst cluster to add the message cener and extra gauges. In my opinion the car sits to high and i dont want to put 20 ince tires on it. i know a couple of guys have put the 2" eibach kit but for a daily driver as mine is i feal it cuts dow on the travel and changes the geom to much. thats just my opinion. so do the drop i know you will like it.

sorry, I was not clear on the "leave well enough alone" comment, I ment this about the healthy debate and me not jumping into a "who's correct" can of worms.

I allready have my ebach pro kit & am just waiting for my adjust. panhard bar to arrive then I will install myself

I did not read the disclaimer fully the first time I read that great write-up,
and I bet many would just go right to the photos and get excited about doing it themselfs rather then a warning (maybe you could do something on the how to forums that makes you read the disclaimer first before you can see info, like with loading new software agreements?) this legal BS is making my head hurt

gt i agree and gps disclaimer is great if you read them. remenber we live in a world of million dollar coffees and where you have to write out on you insurance in english i understand this document or somthing like that. gp comes across as a very noligable person and i would like to think that i am as well. cant spell for ***** but hey i know my job! and i have rigged plenty of cars for chase sequences jumps and rolls. im used to working with power tools electronics and hydrolics. and i still have been hurt things break stuff happens. one thing i have noticed is there are alot of youngsters out thier looking at what we say and figure heck i could do that. i just want them to think of safety

Compressor (and impact wrench) definitely helps. Brakes that tight lock some of the nuts have and keeps the strut bolt from spinning during removal. Installed my Eibach Pro-Kit today and love it. Ride is nice.

just did the Eibach Pro-Kit last night the install went well, a couple of notes to help others, I did install a quaility alluminum adjustable panhard bar with quaility rod ends, got it off of ebay for under $100 (diden't notice any more road noise transmitted into car, had to bottom out the jam nuts and rod ends into rod to center rear end)

-on front struts, when replacing them into position, on top mount there is a notch with an arrow on each bearing cup mount, that arrow should point out to the wheel

-the checker auto parts tool rental (strut compressor w/ saftey pins) work good, use oil on threads and tighten / loosen each side equaly,

-no, I did not have air tools, but I did use a 1/2" electric impact gun that made it much easer, (don't know for sure but large top nut on strut may need speed/torque a impact gun provides)

-when I tightened all front strut mounting hardware, I held the strut on the lower portion towards middle of car an tighened

on the top I pulled away from car, this hopefully till I get allignment brought the camber to as positive degree as factory allows

the car tracks as well as before the handling is better w/ less roll and a little stiffer ride, no bouncing but on fast large rolling dips or bad R/R tracks it is riding the bump stops for sure.

95% possitive: looks, looks, looks, and handling

5% negitive: rides a little rougher, bottoms suspension on extreme bumps and because of lower step/sit in height some old farts may complain

my car sits almost 3/4" lower on right rear before and after springs, only notice with tape measure but not with looking at it.

i got the bolt kit installed friday. it set the camber better than stock. they are adjusted all the way out so they may not work with lower than pro kit but it is on the far side of the acceptible tolerance. so who knows. as far as for lower i love my look i was up against another mustang the other day and it looked like an off road veh. 1" is just right
