hey gram, just thought i'd check in with you for an update. have you thought any more about the other stuff you guys might try to do as well?
Yes, we have received all our CNC'd parts, Bilstein is shipping our shocks this week, and we are finishing our jigs this week as well.
I am BUSTING my butt trying to get my car to the point where we can run this stuff on my car here in town first, but I am not sure I will get it done in time.
So testing should begin in a week or so, be it on my car, or someone else's.
Once we get the first kit out for test phase, we will begin working on the 65-66 sets.
dolfan: I noticed your from Havasu. I just left Kingman about 8 years ago. Stuck here in N.C. now.
There was once a 72 Gran Torino Sport that lived in Havasu. Beautiful, red with orange laser stripes. Do you happen to know if it's still around?
That was Paul Rodgers car. His wife died, and the poor guy has since gone blind, so he can't drive anymore. He is the biggest car nut I have ever met, and truly a joy to spend time with.
When I was 15, He gave me a ride in his 71 Torino GT 429 SCJ car. That thing was unreal fast.
The red car is probably in his garage, or he may have sold it, but I haven't seen it in a few years.
