So, the side skirts still need to be put on, but the paint is done.

Can you believe this car used to be white/white?
Yes, the motor and trans were pulled so that everything under the hood could be painted too.

Let me know what you guys think. This car hasn't made it out anywhere yet and I'm curious to know if I picked the right idea.

Good color choices, I like it a lot.

I'm glad you put a pinstripe in there, two tone jobs like that look like crap wthout a stripe.

Thanks for the good words!
Also, I wanted to point out that I had all the badging taken off and the holes filled. This includes GT emblems on both fenders, Ford emblem on deck lid, radio antenna and the holes for the spoiler.
I really wanted it clean.

Thanks again.

it went ok i guess, trailered it back behind a uhaul.its too involved of a job to tackle there plus i had no tools or anywhere to do it,id have to wait for parts and all that crap so it seemed like the best choice to bring it home.im deff up for cruisin back down next year, hopefully this time there will be more ppl coming with the both of us.

sorry for hijacking haha.

That looks great. It probably looks even better in person. That body line screams for a 2- tone, and gives it dimension. Nice to see something different. Great work

Looks like Aaron's (xr8d302) car as a vert with Saleen parts. He was doing a build with the same paint scheme, but had to go over to Afghanastan before finishing the project up.
