I'm going to modify mine to play AC/DC Hells Bells instead of that annoying chime lol .Did the fix on mine today also and I’ll echo this. You can hear it and it’s clear, but not super loud.
Not a bad idea , I am just so use to hearing it all the time, not the same without it lolI threw mine in a box a long time ago.

Just fixed mine following the video, except I went to ACE Hardware and bought a Danco #64 "O" Ring Stk# 35778 B for $1.39 vs buying a qty of 10 from the site that the video shows! for $8+ .
