So today, my girlfriend got in the car i put the car in reverse and waited for her to shut the door, i saw her start to so i turn around checked for traffic, and started going, but apparantly she stopped closing it cuase her freind ran up to her. so i hit the basketball pole with it. it aint THAT bad, but the hinge cracked a tiny bit, which is an easy fix really. but the door bent slighty, and just enough so when u close the door, it isnt flush at the top, adn there is a crack rain can get through. i dont feel safe driving it around for fear of theft and rain. i dont have the money to fix it right now and i doubt my parents will help me fix it. i fear i will have to sell it :(

i am wondering if it is safe to try to bend it. or if anyone has a guestimation on how much collex will charge to fix it. :bang:

What ever u do dont sell it. How is the door bent? is there a crease verticly in the middle? so that the back half of the door is bent out ward? If not, how could you best describe the "bend" and where is the crack?

well the bend isnt visible by the eye, its not actually to bad, its bend jsut enough so that when it shuts, the top of the door doesnt sit flush with the chasis. its like a hairline bend

You could try adjusting the door hinge mounting bolts, and, or the door striker to make it close tighter. Make sure you have the plastic roller on the striker.

The cracked hinge will need repair or replacing. I have one that I have welded 3 times now. The body side you can change, the door side is welded to the door.

Probably easiest to just get another door and paint it later. Doors should be available fairly cheap. I see people adversting doors, and for some reason, stock hoods a lot around here.
