Door doesn't unlock w/ key

Yesterday I was going to open my driver's side door with my key but when I turned the key nothing hapenned. The unlock/lock buttons work and the remote from my alarm works but I can't open the door using my key. The passenger side does open with the key though. Is that normal? It's not a real big problem but I just hate knowing that something on my car isn't working right.

Oddly my driver side key lock doesn't work. Passenger is fine. Only found this out when I was trying my spare key for when I get locked out. O well I only use the keyless and can just use my spare in the passenger until I get the locks shaved.

Sounds like the rod may have slipped off the arm or something.

I had a locksmith open my car and he used a jimmy. It broke the small plastic clip that connects the rod to the arm. Probably a good place to look

Same only it was a car wash that did mine.
