When I put my key in my door I cannot turn the lock anymore, it is stuck. Do I have to take my whole door apart to fix this problem??? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
I had this same problem... Use something to hold that little flap on the key hole open, and spray something like WD-40, ZEP-45 or any other lubircant into it and it should be fine. It worked for me but now after 6 months my lock is like that again.. guess it needs some more
Question for you guys... could you still move the lock up and down from the inside of the car, or was that stuck too?
On my 87 GT, I can't move the locks from the inside of the car, nor can I turn the lock with the key on either door from the outside. I think I need to replace the door actuators, but might there be something more wrong?
I dont have power locks on my car... Most of the times it is a b***h to pop open the door. When I sprayed the inside of the lock with lube, it was easy.

Should I spray just the inside of the lock? I mean, I can't move the lock from the inside of the car at all, doesn't go up or down, it seems like it's stuck. Do you think spraying the inside of the lock would fix this?
When my lock was stuck, I could barely pop the door open from the handle inside, couldnt even pull the lock up. I held the little flap on the key hole open, sprayed some zep 45 in there, locked, unlocked, locked, unlocked etc with the key a few times and it worked great after that. Give it a try, its shouldnt hurt anything... but I dont have any electrical things in my doors.
