Door lock switch has no power

My door locks decided to stop working when I swapped my driver side door. I took off the door panel on the drivers side and disconnected 4 pin connector for the door lock switch. I looked for power at the blk/white wire and there is nothing there. If I understand it correctly, fuse 14 is the fuse that runs the door locks so i checked that for continuity and its good to go. But, it doesn't get power until I go to run position with my key. So is this really the right fuse/circuit breaker for door locks that get power all the time? Also, why do they call this metal thing a circuit breaker if there is no way to reset it?

Anyone got any suggestions on what I should do next.

If you will post the model year of your car, I will try to find a diagram. The wiring changed several times between 79 and 95

The metal can is an automatic reset circuit breaker. On an overload or short circuit, a bimetallic strip heats up and pops away from the terminal inside, breaking the connection. When it cools down, it pops back against the terminal and makes connection.

The circuit breaker for the power door locks is a metal box bolted to the starter solenoid.

1990 Mustang GT fastback but I did find the wiring diagram already on here. Thanks alot for the fast help. I'm checking the wrong CB then it seems. I remember seeing another one of these on the starter solenoid. Ill go and see what its up to....back. It was totally disconnected. I think this might be my problem...Ha. Thank for your help.

jrichkr, can you post up the wiring diagram for the 1979's? The door locks on my '79 Cobra started acting up last summer. The passenger side one became very sluggish and I thought that the actuator may be freezing up. Eventually it stopped working. This summer, the driver's one just stopped working. I just bought two brand new actuators, plugged them in and neither one is working. I checked power at the fusible links and I'm getting power from all of them on the side that runs into the interior but I'm not getting power at the switches, nor at the kick panels where the door wiring plugs in. I do not have a fuse for this circuit and this circuit also runs the rear window defrost - which is working fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
