Hey guys i noticed that my door lock switches werent working in the car and my trunk pop wasnt working either. I went to check the fuses and it ended up being a breaker that was really hot. I took it out for now. What would cause the breaker to be that hot. I would think that would indicate that for some reason it is drawing power at all times. Has this happened to anyone? Is one of my switches somehow stuck? What do you guys think?

Interesting (not for you though).

I would almost want to disconnect each door switch and reinstall the breaker and see if it heats up again. If not, plug in one switch and see if it gets toasty. If not, plug in the other. If a switch is stuck, you should see the door lock knobs quivering IIRC.

I'd look at a schematic but IIRC there are about 6 different configurations of keyless/PDL wiring.

I'll try and look at a schematic later.

Good luck.

Thats a good idea! I have the ford tech books the HUGE one for the whole car and the smaller vacuum and electrical book. I did notice that there are like 4 different schematics depending on options:bang: . I will try that and then if it is inconclusive ill have to bust out the voltmeter and go nuts.
