door panel removal

Nah, not too difficult at all. There's a little snap in trim retainer on the front edge by the hinges that needs to come out and I think two screws behind the door cup/handle. Then you can just lift it up and away.

lift up the plastic piece with the cutouts for the window switches
unscrew two bolts
lift the entire panel upward and then out towards urself

i changed the speakers in both of my doors in no more than 15-20 minutes

You didn't mention if you have the Mach 460 system or not. If you do you have to pull off the tweeter speaker grill and remove I believe two screws in there and unhook the speaker connector. After that you can remove the tweeter assembly.

After that it's mentioned as above, the push in plastic trim retainer on the lower front edge of the paneling, remove the plastic door handle trim and unhook the connections, remove two screws and then lift straight up.

i think the hardest part for me was to get the door panel back on.

taking it off once i knew what had to be done was a piece of cake.

it would of probably been easier to put back on if i wasn't so frustrated with having to rip it apart trying to figure out what was wrong with my window motor on the passenger door.

after you got the panel off it was just 4 screws for me in the door for the speaker, unscrew that, take off the two clips i guess you could call them, and then attach those to the speaker. screw the speaker back in, pop the door panel back in.
