I just put in new satin silver door pins and bezels from UPR. But, my passenger side door pin is higher than the driver side. It just looks funny when the doors are locked, as one is pretty much flush and the other pin sticks out a bit.

Is there any way to adjust the height of the actual door pin mechanism? I took off the pins and the passenger side thread is higher, how can I lower it to match the driver side??

*And yes, I thought about just loosening the driver side pin to match the passenger, but when I tried this, it was just too loose and moves around very easily, and rattles.

*And yes I tightened it all the way down, its the actual mechanism that is too high.

Pics Below... (BOTH Pics Are in the LOCKED Position)

Mines the same way with the stock locks. My passenger side is raised after having ford fix a faulty lock solenoid. I'm sure its adjustable, pull the door panel off and you can see the whole lock arm, its about a foot long metal bar. Probably can just bend it where you want it.

I need to do this to mine, I dont like how you can pull up the knob and unlock it, I like it sunk out of reach.

Yeah, I like it sunk as well, just like my driver side pic.

How do you pull off the door panel? Is it just held on by clips, do I have to unscrew anything first?

pop off the tweeter pod cover, undo 1 bolt in there, pull it off, pull out the grip pocket thing in the middle of the door (screwdriver with a cloth into the top tab to wedge it out), then pull it upwards to get it out, unscrew the switches from the trim piece.. theres some screws behind there to remove. then pull out the push-pin at the front/inside of the door (by the hindges), then pull upwards and back to remove the door panel. dont be afraid if you break the clips and crap, mines held on fine by about 1/3rd of the factory clips lol

Hey, thanks for the help! Wasn't gonna do it, but got bored today and said what the hell. Pulled everything off and bent the bar down and then in. Test fit the door a few times, and got the height perfect! Now both pins are the same height, and both are flush when locked! Looks way better, to me anyway, I doubt anyone else would ever notice, haha.
