i need to know if i'm going the right path to my little problemo. when i bought my 93 GT the pass. door pin wasn't working properly (wouldn't illuminate dome light). driver door would work properly. no big deal until now because when i had the alarm installed they jumped it to the driver side pin switch to trip the alarm if the pass. door was opened. the alarm techs couldn't/didn't have time to figure out what was wrong with that pin switch.
my problem now is that the door chime would come on from time to time while i'm driving. if i open my driver door and slam it shut it would stop the door chime. but, the dome light isn't on when the door chime is going off. i suspect that it also is tripping my alarm off when the system is armed. i haven't tried opening and closing the pass. door cause it hasn't happened when someone is sitting there, and i really can't do it while doing 65. all these events happen while it's raining too. i'm sure that's a factor.
