I am getting ready to put the passenger side door back on my car. Just two questions:

1. Do you grease the door pins or the bushings before putting them in?

2. I had to take the hinge plates that bolt to the body off. What is the best way to reinstall? Is it possible to attach the hinge plates to the door and bolt everything in or do I just have to go with trial and error to get everything lined up?

Yes, grease the pins.

Unless your lucky you're going to have to line things up again. It will only be small adjustments and nothing too difficult to sweat over. It's a heavy ass door though so make sure you tighten those bolts up really good.

Thanks for the info. I have been chasing down a leak and found that the water is coming in at the top of the door. It got even worse when I put in weather stripping. I think I am going to have to adjust the hinges so the door is slightly higher.
