Body - 61B = Mustang 3-door sedan (hatchback)

With a build date of 10/87, it could be an '88.
My '88's build date is 12/87. I purchased it 01/88.
They used to change over in August for a September introduction.

Curious as why the OP stated he had s notch, but that tag is off a hatchback (61B)

The tag is partially missing as well, so wonder if it’s been tampered with

OP has a 1986 LX 2-door sedan (P26/66B coupe/notchback)

Door tag is from a 1988 GT 3-door sedan (P42E/61B hatchback)
