Recently replaced my old torn stuff with some Ford replacements... really nice quality! However... now my doors are a PITA to open. To get out of my car I have to grab the handle and pull in while pulling on the lever. Getting in isnt much easier Is there something I can adjust to make them easier to open?

I had the same problem after I replaced my weatherstripping, but it went away after a few weeks with no adjustments.

Good luck to you.

I would also check the condition of the door hinge pins and bushing. Just open the door a little bit and grab the bottom and pull up. It should move very little. If it move alot, the bushings and pins need to be replaced.

Clean around the door where the seal meets the door. Then wipe the seal with something to clean it as well, alcohol would work. After which spray some slicone lube in to a rag and wipe the seal. This will keep the seal in good condition and stop the stickness that is the problem.
