Car= 86 coupe, front windshield only, all the other windows are gone. Will be a low 13 car.
Question= Legal with window net for front driver door or totally illegal?
I only need the above question answered, not looking for opinions on having all the windows removed.
Thanks

For street class, it is illegal. Must have windows, and they must be rolled up.

I'm not worried about a class, I'm just looking to find out if I can have fun at the drags every once in awhile with the car.
So far no one on any forum has a solid answer.

In Maui, youd get away with it.

You need glass or a window net, incase of a roll over they feel glass or a window net will keep most your body in the car

Glass or nets, an open space won't fly.

Wait, huh? According to the NHRA rules, you MUST have windows made of glass or shatter proof plastic (CLEAR) in order to run. You can have a drivers side net, but you can NOT run with no glass in the other windows (rear, quarter, pass side). If the track you are running at follows NHRA rules that is.

Yeah Big Isle is a wet one in that area. Never lived on Oahu before, went to Fem Nus but that was while working as a subcontractor for Hawaiian Cement.
Maui is home, went to Lahinaluna
