Drag Suspension

I need to get rid of my Eibach lowering springs and get some 50/50s in the back and some 90/10 in the front. I'm pretty dumd when it comes to suspension so I really don't know where to start. Where should I start? Where should I look? What brand is good? What is the install time and difficutly? Any help and opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am also in the same boat, I got the Racecraft lowering springs (too low) and stock struts/shocks and NEED to upgrade.
Ultimately what I want is a good combo that hooks real well both on the street and on the strip, but can also be set up to corner decent, by decent I mean at least as good as stock. I also want to keep the ride height somewhere in between stock and what I have now which is too low, I'm thinking about a 1" drop. I also want to be able to fit a set of 28*9 slicks out back to go with my 4.10's.
Which springs/shocks/struts will I need to accomplish this? Will I need to get rid of my MM lower non-adjustable control arms and pick up a set of the adjustables to fit those slicks?

So you wanna hook? I agree, shocks and springs are a great start, removal of the front swaybar also helps. Don't make the mistake I did, running a full drag suspension with 17x9 Cobra R's on 40 sidewall tires. Some 15x8/10" will do much better in the rear. That would be a good start, also adjustable contoll arms for the rear and a properly adjusted pinion angle and at least some drag radials and you'll be able to make the AWD boys wonder where thier advantage went. Just keep in mind that a Mustang is a nose heavy car.

Welll I already run a MT 26x8.5x15 at the track and have boxed upper and lower control arms. I still get loose in first and sometimes in second as well even after I heat up my tires. I'm thinking some 10 way adjustable shocks front/back, and a good set of 50/50 and 90/10's but don't know where to start.

Take the front sway completely off the car???

if your just building it for straight drag then id get some moroso trick rear springs{right rear is stiffer helps keep car level without bag} and some strange or koni adjustable shocks/struts, boxed stock uppers and steeda style lowers{gms, upr ect...} and completly remove the front sway bar from the car.

I was thinking of doing the same setup, 17x9's with 40 drag radials and an Eibach drag launch kit, what was the problem? I'd like to know if I don't need to go that route.

I would guess the sidewalls are to still and to short. And the soft set up didn't help anything.
