i am wanting to put a set of weld draglites on my 93 hatch. i think i want to run a 5" front rim instead of the 3.5" because the car see's alot of street use. does anyone know what backspacing to run with these? i also want to run either a 9" or 10" rim on the back and i am not sure about B.S.. and any suggestions on a front tire size? the car is lowered about 1.5", and i want to keep it streetable in the rainy season too. thanks guys!!

They are giving you a free bump up the board to see how this all works out. and i'd say a 3.5 inch backspace.

it just means that they are subscribing to the thread so that they get email notifications whenever there is a new reply.

Anyway back to the question.. I just ordered some draglites and went with 15X10 6.5" BS for rear, 15X3.5 in front.. not sure what you want as far a BS for the 15X5 but I dont think there are many options anyways. As far as the 15X10's go, for a good fit under the car and as close as possible to the inner wells, go with the 6.5" BS, or you could go with 5.5" but that would make the wheels stick out further and more under the fender so it could possibly hit the fender more that way on bumps/launch etc.. I am picking up tires for them today and will get them mounted up real soon and then make a post with pics for everyone when I'm done...

Don't know if this will help you.......I have 15x7" fronts, with 4.5" backspacing (215/60/15 tires). The rears are 15x8" with 5.5" backspacing (265/50/15 tires).

What brand tires are those and how well do they hook? I've been looking to get a set of 265/50/15's, but can't find a reputable brand.

They're just plain old BFG Radial T/A's. I kind of wish I went with some 275/50's....the 265's are the same height as the stock tire. The 275 fills the wheel well a little better.

Do they hook good? I want to go with 275/50's but my car is lowered aboug 1.5" so I am afraid of major rubbing issues.
