I finally got the time to "try" and search for the draw. Hooked up the multi meter and pulled every fuse under the dash and under the hood....still showed I was pulling over 9 dvc's..........any suggestions....

Hey Will ...... remember THIS THREAD?

I never did anything else. Just planned to. Mysteriously the problem went away. I haven't had any problems out of it in a month. I know that doesn't help you ..... but maybe reviewing everything in that thread may help you troubleshoot. Good luck bud.

Justin...I thought of you as I typed the thread.......I will have to get with me friend ....I swear it was pulling 12's and we pulled the 50 amp fuse under the hood and it was gone. Jt has told me to check 15,16 and 1 and I was excited to try it....they didn't work and I decided to pull "all" of them 1 at a time.........no luck....it has had this draw ever since I bought the car and it came with the car start.........will have to wait to this weekend to investigate more.......thanks for the link....I will review it brother...

Will, do you have your meter set to the 10 amp draw scale? You will always have some current flowing out of the battery (for the KAM, memory in your radio, etc) so seeing amperage draw is nice.

Good luck brah.

That's why I want to get with the friend who loaned the meter to me.......
It has all kinds of settings and I used the one he showed me at work but I'm not sure it is the one he used because it was pulling 12 something and it was only pulling 9's the other night........I'm tired of disconnecting the battery when I know I'm not going to drive it for a few days.....

It's your damn radar detector! :jk:

But, mine will kill my car battery in two days if left on.

Try disconnecting the Alternator. That can cause a draw if they are bad. (even if it still charges good)
