drilling trick flow valve covers???

i bought new trick flow valve covers for my stang. the salesperson said they would clear 1.7 roller rockers easily. when i put them on the heads they look like they will be kinda close to touching. has anyone bought these valve covers and drilled them - and did you have any problems/issues? thanks

Standard height, tall, or the fabricated aluminum ones?

the standard height. the salesperson said they would clear my 1.7 rr's. i double checked the web site and it said the same thing.

They have clear on the stuff I have done, you will have to drill or machine for a oil fill tube if you want one.
