Hey guys, I am repairing the drip rails on my 66 coupe. I removed all the existing sealant that was there from the factory due to a little bit of rust that started building. Luckily it didn't go all the way thru the metal and suprisingly there is still great looking metal underneath the old sealant.
My question is what is the correct sealant to put back in? I've heard of several options but I really need someone who has done it in the past with great results. I had some seam sealer that used on a different part of the car but it got hard and cracked. The sealant that I removed, even after 40+ years was still somewhat flexible.
Any help would be appreciated.
