drive belt route after smog removal???

For those of you who removed your smog pump, how did you route your belt after??? and what size of belt did you use?

I used a 895K6 after several trips to the parts store. Here is the diagram...

895K6 is a PITA to get on there... but once its on it gets stretched out and it fairly easy from then on if you ever take it back off.

If you just get the smog bypass pulley, you can use the same belt. That pulley is only a few bucks more than a new belt.

I tried running a short belt and it kept jumping halfway off my crank pulley and I never figured out why. I finally bought a smog bypass pulley but I parked the car and have not installed it. I paid $60 + shipping. I'll sell it if you want it, let me know before the weekend so I can pick it up when I'm at home. $50.

I paid $19 for my short belt, maybe a more expensive one would have stayed on better.

Just bypass the pump and get the short belt. It'll be cheaper than getting what RC is talking about. I think my belt was $19.xx.
