Driver Ornamentation Package (Fleet)?

so i've always wanted the premium steering wheel but not the whole premium package. does this Driver Ornamentation Package accomplish this? it isn't listed on the ford site and i dont know what "(Fleet)" means.

im hesitant to call the dealer because salesmen have a habit of tickling ears instead of telling truth.

Don't have your answer but I'm with you on the salesmen...

A buddy of mine was mislead into thinking that his 2010 base GT was coming with SYNC, illuminated door panels and a Shaker 500. "It's standard on all Mustangs". My friend should have done his diligence and should have known better but at the same time... so should the salesman!

Fleet means fleet sales, such as to rental car dealers or others who buy multiple vehicles. Could be government agencies, etc.

The base GT doesn't come with the Shaker 500 and SYNC????....lame!

That package is exactly what I want with a Base GT as well. Its stupid you can't get a nicer steering wheel for a 30000 dollar car. Local stealership quoted me like 422 bucks for a factory 2011 premium wheel. Shenanigans I say.

the bullitt steering wheel is alright but the premium one is perfect and if i can get this package its cheaper. basically, this package = perfect car for me.

Right with ya. I'd rather have the premium wheel myself. Though the 2010 GT500 wheel you can find from partscheap.com is really nice. It has suede on the thumbrests and then leather everywhere else. Though, If we can't get the Ornamentation package I do have some rather nice motorcycling gloves that will work well with the base wheel.

if you guys wait a while, and hold out, check local junkyards in about 8 months for new GT's to pop up and scope them out for whatever interior needs you want. Mooch off of other peoples idiocy.

A few older cars I did that to get the leather interior or the specific interior trim pieces I wanted. Just be patient and deal with it for now.

Otherwise, i say go for the whole package and just trade waht you don't want with other S197 guys ;D you could probably make some money back too

plan B is the 09 bullitt wheel. so it aint so rough.
