I need a new driver side mirror for my 2001 GT This is what happens when people don't know how to drive and rip your mirror off.

My question is, anyone bought side mirrors from Ebay? I see many of them for 30-50$. In terms of quality and fit, how is it?

new or used? why dont you go to a salvage yard and get a used piece? besides if it came off a mustang it will fit a mustang. and if im not mistaken, they fit from 94-04 for our body style.

Sorry, forgot to mention, it 30-50$ for NEW Side mirrors

i just bought a passenger mirror yesterday from car parts wholesale. i havent got it yet but i paid $40 shipped. they advertise "meets or exceeds OE" but ill let you know as soon as i get it.

car parts whole sale is accually very good i bought a header panel from them (got backed into at school) for like 50$ shipped, and it fit great

I'd probably first try a local junk yard. If not, then go ahead & order it. On Ebay, often the seller will answer questions you may have.

I got a pass side from the procarpart store on Ebay. The mirror looks fine and works well.

94-98 are different than 99-04. they will fit but theres slight differences

also i think in 96 they added texture?

I was worried about the black not matching, then I realized they sell the glass separately so I went that route, since my housing was still ok.

so... if anyone looking needs only the glass its like $20 shipped on ebay.
