Driver's side door will not lock and it's not the actuators
As the question says I can't get my driver's side door to lock. My door lock actuators work, I just replaced them. I still couldn't get it to lock with the lock actuators removed. I also replaced my door latch assembly. With the old assembly the lock would just pop back up when you pushed it down. Now it goes down, just not far enough. What gives?
It's an 86 GT with 115000 miles. Doors are lined up well and the bushings and pins appear to have been recently replaced (I've only had it a month and have virtually no history other than my suspisions). I also have new lock cylinders, but it wouldn't lock with the old ones either.
