My light seems to be going bad or something, it lights up, but it doesn't light up as bright as the passenger side one, it almost looks dead. in the dash, you know when the BRIGHTS are on, the light turns on, that turns on, but its not as bright as it would be if i had my BRIGHTS on (kinda dim), does that make sense? like if its not getting enough power or something

it seems to work if i move it around a little, but then goes bad once i turn off my car or something, anyone know whats going on? tried replacing the lights, no luck. thx

its headlight btw

Bad/loose connection or bad ground.

The brightness of a light depends on the voltage it receives. In order to be as bright as the other side, it would need the full 12V.

SO by being dim, it tells us that something is causing the bulb to see less than 12V.

Take the headlight out and inspect the headlight harness plug and make sure there isn't any burned connections inside. Replace if necessary.

If you have a digital volt meter, check for voltage at the socket.

Autozone sells replacement 9007 plugs.

Just cut, and crimp the new one on.

Did it work out? Must have caused the ground to go bad.
