Driveshaft and Quad Shocks Questions

Two Questions:

1. I just got an aluminum driveshaft, can I take off that heavy block near the differential?

2. I just got MM rear lower control arms, new springs, shocks, and a panhard bar. Would it be ok to remove the quad shocks?

you don't need either with the new equipment.
