I have the QA1 tubular K-member and a tremec tko500 tranny.
Had the car running for a while with this setup, but the driveshaft was such a huge bitch to install the first time through.
Guessing it's because the k-member is set back an inch farther than stock.
I had to take apart the u-joint to get the driveshaft on.

So, I was doing my clutch today and got everything just about done.
Got to the driveshaft and remembered what I had to do from before, disconnect the yoke and install it like that.

Well, i can't seem to get enough clearance for the driveshaft to fit anymore, I need like 1/4" more to fit the driveshaft fully.
Nothing has changed since then, i don't see why it's being a problem now.

Is anyone else running this setup, and if so what did you do about the driveshaft situation?
Did you have to get a shorter one? Or were you able to get the stock size in there without much trouble.
And any tips or tricks to get this thing in there farther?
Tried a plastic hammer on the yoke to get it in a little farther.
Seemed to have worked a tiny bit, but like I said I still need about 1/4" to go.

There's about 1" of metal before the base of the yoke near the rubber boot of the tailshaft seal.
