Driving stang from PA to FL

Make sure your hoses and coolant are good. Carry a spare belt. I used to live in Philly. I moved to FL in 1988. I make that drive a lot. I driven it in all kinds of weather. The 5.0L was made to run on the highway. At least that is how I felt. The Carolina's will seem like the longest part, its about 360 miles to go through them. Georgia will be the shortest state, only 108 miles via I-95. Orlando traffic sucks, but you will be getting off at either SR 434 or SR 436 to head to Apopka.

Good luck and safe travels.

This is my 5th trip going from Pa to fl in the last 2 months, However it is the first time taking the stang. I was pretty sure the carolinas were 380 miles but whos counting. For me the 2 shortest states are maryland and westvirginia. Im leaving at 530am thursday morning i think i will be in georgia by night fall thursday. I get off interstate 4 at rt 436. Are you from the area?

Well i made the trip took 17 hours yesterday. Pretty cool trip. One thing you guys forgot to mention. I used sea foam all throughout the car. Wow a difference that made. 400 miles to a tank of gas. Sam a couple of stangs the way down and we kinda used eachother as passing buddies,Sweet. The only down fall was rain in georgia. I also smashed a trucktire down here but only need a new trim plastic connector or something like that. All and all good trip thanks for the advice..
