I was wondering if anyone has any experience installing an engine drop mount kit in their car. I have a 92 GT with a recently installed Kenne-Bell Blowzilla supercharger. I'm having a hood clearance issue with the supercharge pulley (I have the GT-40 lower intake, and GT-40X heads). I've taken off the hood liner, crimped the hood by the pulley, and played with the latching bracket etc, but the supercharger belt is still hitting the underside of the hood. My next thought is to drop the motor with a drop kit. Has anyone done this before? If so, how much does the kit drop the motor, and did you experience any additional ramifications from dropping the motor (any additional unexpected problems that I will have to consider)? Also, is there a preferred kit, and how much does one cost? I'm trying to retain the stock look so I'm trying to avoid getting a cowl hood. Any help is appreciated.
