I am intersted in droping my car. I want to put a Saleen body kit on it. How low do you recomend that I drop the car. It is my daily driver and is not raced. I do not want to have probems with bumps and such. I want to drop it just for looks. I also want good ride for daily use.

I have heard about using fox springs and shocks?? Can someone tell me about this?

I also will be putting 18" wheels on the car.

Thanks everyone.

If you want a good ride, get some progressive rate springs. (ie. stay away from the FRPP C springs since they are linear rate and I've read that they can rattle your guts over bumps) I recommend 1.25"-1.5" for the drop which will be enough to take away the stock 4x4 look. You could also go with the Fox springs but since those spring rates are softer, your handling will suffer and your car will be more bouncier over bumps. So take a look at the Steeda sport springs or the Eibach pro-kit and pair it up with Mach 1 shocks and struts. This setup will prolly set you back about $400 tops.
