I dropped and intake valve on the number one cylinder in my .060 over 302 it is the spring/valve closest to the front of the car. Im not sure how to continue my project. I have a lunati cam .466int .483exh, 650 edelbrock carb,gt 40 3bar heads, Full MSD ignition, 1 5/8 full length headers, New tremec T-5 2.95, New 8.8 with a Detroit locker and 5 lug axles, 275 40 zr 17s, and QA1 adjustable shocks and struts. when i popped the valve cover off. i seen the top of the spring retainers and cap were beat up and off. i havent had time to pull the head off but everyone locally said im s o l most likely. with my parts i have could i swap in a 351 and use my current set up or would it be better to build anther 302 short block. Any help is appreciated.
