Having dual exhaust Magna flows put in my 1971 Mustang Mach1 which now has single exhaust. 351 4bbl small block Windsor.
Question is do I need a X or H pipe? The muffler man who has a lot of experience told me he doesn't feel I need it. His reasoning is it is not a daily driver, not towing and not being run at high Rpms.
What are everyone's thoughts?

Aloha JJHstang

What size pipe, manifolds, and exit location? More info makes better guesses.

H pipe sounds cooler more 60s muscle car kine
X pipe makes a couple more horse power on upper rpm
Normal street cruising it probable don't matter enough to get excited about.
How ever you do it make sure you can service trans with out cutting it up.

Ya got to put many miles on her yet? Soon?
Is she cleaned up enough for fresh pictures?
