dumb question about x/h pipes

i read about how they don't have cats?........and i need to pass inspection, which ones have cats?

Off Road (O/R) X or H pipes do not have cats and catted X or H pipes do have cats

Most of the companies that offer O/R X or H pipes also offer a catted version.

Quick fix for me was cut a length of pipe strap on cats get inspected then drop em back off ^^

depends on what state youre in. if youare in CA you have to have the OEM cats, no aftermarket midpipe is legal here.

The more expensive ones have cats, or look for the ones that say catted-x or catted-h.

Unless you want extremely loud i would stay away from the O/R unless you have some quiet mufflers.

You must have a catted h or x pipe to pass emissions/
smog test unless you live in CA then you have to have
the OEM h pipe to pass.

Good point...I took the cats out of my Bassani x-pipe (the catted Bassanis come with pipes to put in place of the cats) a while back. I know the old folks in the neighborhood didn't appreciate it and it actually started to offend me (and I like things loud).
