well i am getting ready to buy a new intake and i am gonna go ahead and buy the stuff i need for my turbo setup. will a trick flow R box intake fit stock heads?? its the same lower as the R just the box top. on summits site it has a note saying will only fit trick flow R heads.. just want to make sure. i need an intake now just to run through march and theres no need in buying another street manifold since i am gonna go with the r box in 5 months..

I ran the R lower on ported AFR 185's and I just made sure that the intake ports matched the head ports. I had to do a little grinding on the intake ports to match it up. The E7 ports are probably smaller though, so you shouldn't have to do so much work.

well if im not worried about restriction i wont have to do any modifying will i? i know they're not gonna be gasket matched like the r heads but will the intake work?? not for max efficiency but just work at all???

thank you.. thats all i was wondering. i know the actual intake will hurt my low end torque but i have to have it when i do my swap in a few months and theres no sense in buying an intake now to run till march and have to fork out another 650 on an r box. btw, i took a chance and ordered my r box this morning. i was hoping it would bolt up fine. thanks again guys
